Master's Graduation 2009 - University of Malta

This year, five candidates graduated with the Master in Contemporary Diplomacy from the University of Malta and Diplo, on Monday, November 23, 2009. The graduation ceremony took place at the Jesuit’s church in Valletta, Malta. The graduates, and their research topics, were: *Michael Bulwaka* (*Diaspora Diplomacy: A Case Study of Uganda*); *Rudaralingum Coopamootoo* (*Exploring the Relevance of Engagement and Containment Approaches in the European Union’s Management of Relations with Russia*); *Philip Donald Kargbo* (*The Role of Public Diplomacy in the Resolution of African Disputes: Civil Society Action in Sierra Leone*); *Liene Norberg* (*Impact of Russia’s Foreign Energy Policy on Small European States’ Security. Case Study: The Baltic States*); *Uchenna Okoli* (*Development Aid and Nigeria’s Poverty Challenge: Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5 in Focus*). We would like to thank the Diplo faculty members who supervised the work of these graduates.
